With the inherent commitment to be a flexible and reliable supplier from Western Australia, Hay Australia has recently invested in a new production facility near Yerecoin in the Victoria Plains shire, Western Australia.

The upgraded press has been combined with an upstream decontamination unit, teaser and baler to ensure active decontamination of foreign objects from the raw materials.

The new processing line also has a strong focus on Quality Assurance, with an in-line metal detector  incorporated into the line which rejects contaminated bales. This press has an annual capacity of in excess of 60,000t.

Oaten hay is compressed into 22-24kg half-cut bales or 44-48kg full bales for containerising and shipping.
