Hay GRading System For Growers

Hay Feed Value Points Score

All hay has an objective analysis of its quality through testing with the Victorian Department of Primary Industries Feed Test laboratories.

This test measures important characteristics such as Digestible Dry Matter (DDM), Neutral Detergent Fibre (NDF), Acid Detergent Fibre (ADF), Water Soluble Carbohydrates (WSC) and Protein.

The tested characteristics are attributed points for each parameter, with the feed value scoring 40 points of the total score.
